Meetings
WERA AGMs are generally held in July, and are advertised by leaflet
to individual houses.
The committee meets three times per year.

meeting minutes
Members are entitled to nominate items for the committee's agenda through either
their road representative or the secretary.
Newsletters
WERA produces several newsletters and flyers each year which are delivered
to member households. It also provides other services as required - for example,
it distributes residents' road entry permits for the night of Ally Pally fireworks.

Responses to consultations
The WERA committee responds where possible to public consultations on
local issues. If you are aware of such a consultation and would like the committee
to respond, please contact the secretary; the committee may not be aware of
the consultation, and in any case it is helpful to know members' views.
Some recent consultations
Looking after our environment
WERA coordinates the work of the Friends of Priory Common, a group of volunteers who look after the Common (the strip of grass and trees along the north side of Priory Road). Click here for their forthcoming activities, and to see what they've achieved.
WERA installed the noticeboard on Priory Common (between Warner Road and Park Avenue North) with a grant from Haringey Council, and update the notices on it. These include a monthly poem by our poet-in-'residents', Jeff Probst.

Statement of purpose
Since 1996, WERA has represented the residents of nine roads at the
bottom of Muswell Hill: Redston Road, Danvers Road, Warner Road, Park Avenue
North, Priory Avenue, Linzee Road, Clovelly Road, Baden Road and Priory Road
(north side). WERA acts on behalf of residents and monitors local issues, including
those concerning Alexandra Palace and Park, road safety, trees, and planning
developments which affect the area and our properties.
Neighbourhood Watch
WERA is also a Neighbourhood Watch group, affiliated to the Haringey Association of Neighbourhood Watches.
